India-UK Young Professionals Scheme

Under the UK-India Young Professionals Scheme, 3,00 visas are available. All you need to know about the ballot in February

An updated ballot for the India Young Professionals Scheme has been issued by the UK Home Office. The draw is scheduled for February 20, 2024, and runs until February 22, 2024. Successful candidates, who must be between the ages of 18 and 30, are granted a 24-month visa to live, work, and study in the United Kingdom.

Eligible Indian nationals holding a bachelor’s degree or above may cast ballots between February 20, 2024, at 2:30 pm and February 22, 2024, at 2:30 pm. Having funds of at least GBP 2,530 and not having any dependent children under the age of 18 are additional requirements. After being chosen, applicants have ninety days to submit their applications, pay the necessary costs (which include the immigration health premium), and submit their biometrics. You have six months from the time of application to travel to the UK.

Three thousand visa slots are being set aside for the India Young Professionals Scheme in 2024. The bulk of these positions will be up for grabs in the next poll in February 2024, with the remaining slots being up for grabs in a ballot in July 2024.

Although there is no fee to enter the ballot, the scheme’s application procedure costs GBP 298. Those who are not chosen on the next ballot may reapply for future ones.

Within two weeks of the poll ending, the selected candidates will get an email with the results. Successful submissions will be selected at random.

Established in May 2021, the UK-India Mobility and Migration Partnership includes the Young Professionals Scheme. This agreement highlights the United Kingdom’s and India’s commitment to improving immigration laws and bolstering their joint efforts to combat immigration infractions.
